F.A.Q.
I have never worked out before and/or I have injuries and/or I am extremely overweight. Can I still join this boot camp?
Certainly! Allied Training Professionals specializes in providing challenging workouts for people at any level…at the same time. We can have a 65 year old with arthritic joints and a 25 year old with 5% body fat working out in the same group and both will be challenged at their own level.
Who will be coaching me?
ATP approved trainers who are all nationally certified and go through a rigorous training process will be your coaches. Primarily, Angelo Hunter, the co-founder of Allied Training Professionals as well as Erin Arvidson, Christian Penzero and Herb Sylvain. Some of you may have seen them coaching premium members in our one-on-one training programs.
How long is each session? How many sessions are there per week?
Each session lasts about 45 minutes to an hour. We approximately have 10 minutes of warm up, 30 minutes of resistance training and 10 minutes of cool down. All camps meet 3 times a week on varying days and times. Our camps are run in 4 week increments. Please see the boot camp schedule to see when the next boot camp starts.
What is the cost of a Boot Camp?
A 4-week Boot Camp is $300. Corporate members will receive a 20% discount on top of that!
Will I learn about nutrition?
Any good fitness professional knows that true fitness is achieved by not only great workouts, but also great nutrition. We here at Allied Training Professionals know that all too well. We will be providing you with a trademarked system with all the tools to achieve a complete and healthy fat loss diet.
What do I bring to the camp?
You will need a mat or long towel for floor exercises, flex bands, a foam roller and a tennis ball. These are one-time investments that you will be able to use at every camp. We will provide the proper suppliers for these pieces of equipment.
Where are the boot camps held?
At Allied Training Professionals fitness facility in the Daymon Worldwide building. During the warmer months some classes may be scheduled for outdoors.
When I think boot camp, I think of a drill sergeant screaming in my ear? Is this the style of training I will undergo?
When we refer to “boot camps”, we mean high physical intensity and group training. What we don’t mean is being aggressive or demeaning in any way. We will push you, but never through intimidation. As we get to know our clients, we learn what type of encouragement each individual prefers and try our best to cater to that. For some, that may be a pat on the shoulder, for others that may mean a little tough love ; ).
What is your refund policy?
If you notify us prior to the camp’s start date, you will receive a refund minus a $25 cancellation fee. If it is after a camp has started, we can only credit you for a future boot camp of the same duration. The credit is non-transferable and will be in check form. There are no exceptions.
